The Parade of Heroes is the Village West Rotary Club's signature event.  Held in the fall of each year, this exciting nighttime parade recognizes the hard work, dedication and often, the sacrifices our armed forces, law enforcement, firefighters and other unique heroes make for us each day. Over 100 participants including fire, law enforcement, military vehicles, vintage cars, local high school bands and others begin the Parade at France Family Drive North to Stadium Drive. Joining the Parade are many of our local Veterans from WWII, Vietnam, Korea and our present day Heroes, our current soldiers, firefighters, law enforcement and other special heroes. Hundreds of spectators line the streets for this much anticipated community event to pay tribute to our heroes.

As the biggest and most anticipated event of the year, all club members are encouraged and expected to contribute to the Parade. Planning begins early and assistance is needed with securing sponsors and participants, event logistics, promotion of the event and planning the Heroe's Reception after the event.
